Polyester synthetic material of the lining helps improve the breathability and transfer the moisture away quickly. Mid layer is waterproof membrane, effectively prevents rainwater into the garment and keep you dry and comfortable. (Water may leak through the stitching parts of the jacket while wearing in the heavy rain.)
